Hi there! Ferris Bueller here, and if you're just joining us, we are now... two weeks into our stay in the fabulous and bizarre city known as... The City. Definitive, titular, known by no other name, it is simply The City. I have to admit a certain amount of admiration for its style.
On the other hand, I've seen a whole bunch of these curses now. Weird things, and there's one today, actually. People are going around rating each other, on hotness. Now I'll be the first to admit, this entire place is full of some highly aesthetically gifted people, and there is nothing wrong with paying that a little well-earned respect. But you know, there's something about going around giving people number scores that just seems a little unbecoming. I mean, just because someone's not a ten doesn't mean they should spend the day feeling bad.
Besides, I have to say, as much as I enjoy the views, and I do, because hey, I'm only human... I'm starting to miss a few things about home. Especially Sloane, with the curses and Valentine's coming up.
But I'll be okay. She doesn't even know I'm gone, right? So all I have to worry about is me, and I'll manage.

Ramping up for Valentine's Day, are we? I have to say, City, you're a pretty good-looking bunch of people. I'll give you a 9, overall. And any and all of you can feel more than free to take credit for that score, and it'd be a 10 if I didn't want some of you getting the wrong idea.
Meanwhile, I'm settling in fine. I've found an apartment, but I can't say I spend a whole lot of time there. I mean, hey, there's too much to see out here to spend it all cooped up inside, and I'm not a big fan of the ticking. On that note, if anyone needs a roommate? I know a great guy who could use a little bit less maddening noise in his life.
What else? Oh, yes, of course, thank you everyone who helped me when I first got here. I know I thanked you each personally at the time, but you were all just outstanding, so really, thank you all again. You're just a fabulous bunch of people, City.
Though, there is one point I have to check. It's two thousand and ten?

Though I mean, really, nobody here is that bad-looking that they should have to feel bad about it.

A pet might be a nice solution, though there's a lot to be said for human companionship, too, isn't there? Not that a roommate necessarily rules out a pet.

/can totally tag you in two places at once with two people asdfdadsa >.>
/bounces back and forth like the ball in a game of pong
/flails bouncing between two pretty much COMPLETE opposite personalities ahaha XD
Hahahaha, don't you just love that feeling?
I DO. Either way, I have self-confidence issues. Just vastly different ones.
Have I mentioned lately that I love your Ferris, by the way?
Ahhh thank you <33 He's... still making me nervous, I have to admit ^^;;; And I must crash soon T_T
He's got just the right balance of arrogance and gentleman. Also, crash when you need to! <3

And yep, it's 2010.
Is the curse bothering you? It's not a bad curse, but it's kind of disheartening.

I think the bigger thing is that it was 1986 last time I wrote the date. But hey, it is nice to get to spend some time in the 21st century without being in my 40's.
no subject
That's kind of a jump there. How're you liking the new millennium?
no subject
It is, isn't it? Seems like a nice millennium you've got yourself here, though. I mean, it certainly explains the devices. This tiny little thing is significantly more powerful than my computer.
no subject
Well, thank you. Technology's crazy; the better it gets, the smaller it becomes.

..Sorry about that, I was really just wanting to say that it is 2010.

So I am in the future. Gotta say, this place hasn't proven boring yet.
